The American Red Cross offers a full range of Clinical Services, including therapeutic apheresis, perioperative autologous cell salvage and HPC harvest, processing, freezing and storage.

Educational Resources
The Red Cross offers hospitals tools and resources to navigate the complex coding and billing issues related to reimbursement for blood products and related services.

Infectious Disease Testing
The American Red Cross performs laboratory tests for multiple infectious disease markers on every unit of donated blood. Tests are upgraded or replaced with more sensitive technologies as these become available.

Immunohematology Journal
A peer-reviewed journal of blood group serology and education, published by American Red Cross Biomedical Services.
